The previous inhabitants, Warren and Helen Tate, lived a lavish lifestyle akin to royalty. Each had a bedroom that was connected by a parlor. The Warren Suite, which comprises his bedroom, a connecting butler's room (now functioning as a parlor), and the original bathroom of the house, was their abode.

The Warren Suite features an original fireplace that once served as the heating source for this area. The bedroom's fireplace is lithographed slate. All the woodwork is made of hemlock, which was used in the early northeastern states and imported by Tate for his retirement manor. The ceilings are approximately 12ft tall.

The butler's room and the original bathroom once had potbelly stoves but are no longer part of the rooms. They are both part of the original section of the home that dates to the early 1840s. The ceilings in this part of the mansion are about 10ft tall, requiring three steps down into each zone. The bathroom also doubled as the maid's quarters. Shortly after they moved in, city water and sewer lines became available, so the maid shared her bedroom with the bathtub and water closet. The original clawfoot tub is still in use today.

The suite is adorned with an assortment of original stained-glass windows that drench the area in a multicolored array of sunshine. Bask in the magnificence of the Neo-Jacobean architecture combined with contemporary bathroom fixtures (excluding the original clawfoot tub).
